Gladys was really nice and she convinced me to try the Piattino salad which was really good. So if you are looking for a nice option, the salad are really good.

Just wanted to echo what others have said, Nashaat Youssef is absolutely incredible. I travel frequently and rarely take the time to leave reviews, but his level of service truly stood out. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. Even with a full section, Nashaat was efficient and checked in at all the right moments without being overbearing. He made great menu recommendations and ensured I was comfortable the entire time. It’s clear he takes pride in what he does, and it shows. If you’re passing through Terminal A and need a good meal with top-tier service, ask for Nashaat. He’s a gem and a huge asset to Piattino.

From the moment we walked in, Rashida brought warmth, personality, and top-tier service that completely elevated our dining experience. She knew the menu like the back of her hand, made incredible recommendations (get the truffle fries—trust her), and had this effortless way of making everyone at the table feel seen and appreciated. Her timing was perfect, her vibe was genuine, and her smile lit up the whole room. You can tell she loves what she does, and it shows in every interaction. The mushroom pizza and kale salad were more than decent, especially for the airport. The service was a bit gruff then kind, but you have to be aggressive about grabbing their attention. The wine worked. We’ll do it again.

Piattino has been my go to stop every time I fly international since 2018. The food is good, the drinks are good. Service can be slow, but they are busy so I understand. I look forward to eating here every time I fly internationally. I just wish they had chicken, bacon, ranch pizza!

If you’re ever at Piattino in Newark airport, do yourself a favor and ask for Rashida Welsch. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel like VIPs. Her energy is infectious, her recommendations were spot-on, and her attention to detail? Next level. Rashida has that rare blend of professionalism and warmth that turns a good meal into an unforgettable experience. She anticipated our needs before we even asked and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Five stars aren’t enough for the service we received—thank you, Rashida, for making our visit so special. We’ll be back for the food, but definitely for the service. She deserves all the gratuity!
